The origin of the Farmers Dinner
starts with the community. It’s about building relationships with farmers
and learning about sustainable agriculture and honoring the local farmers to a
community organization. It started in
2012 the first Farmers Dinner took place at Saffron Bistro on Main st in
Nashua, New Hampshire. The Farmers
Dinner travels to different restaurants and creates the best farm to table
dinner experience around. It all begins
with meeting the farmer and seeing what’s in season. From there we network with
local agriculture producers and set up guest speakers to talk at the dinner
about their products and how their work impacts the local community.
